Model Fitness: Lynsey



Superior's very 'fit' Lynsey M was in the office for a chat recently, and she shared with us her latest fitness tips and her training regime for her first half marathon!

Lynsey is currently training for the half marathon in Inverness, which takes place in 5 weeks. 

"Running is great because it’s free and it is a fantastic way to see places and keep fit whilst travelling."


Lynsey's tips >

  • Do something you enjoy and try new things such as an aerial circus skills class - www.spinalchord.com 
  • My advice for people that want to start running is ‘you don’t have to go fast, you just have to go’. Running  becomes addictive eventually, so just stick with it.
  • Make your eating and exercise habits a lifestyle choice, whereby  your mantra is 'everything in moderation'.
  • I like to go for sports massages and I reguaraly go to yoga as it is de-stressing for both the body and the mind.
  • Always carry water with you and drink as much as you can.
  • When you’re exercising always have a goal.  I like Jason Statham’s take on exercise, ‘do 40 hard minutes, not an hour and a half of nonsense’. It’s amazing what you can achieve after just a couple of weeks. 
  • Remember strong is the new skinny :)
